WILL THE OUTLETS AT MY HOME OR APARTMENT WORK WITH MY MINING MACHINE?
That question depends on what electrical setup your place has. For most 110v machines, you should have no problem running them on a dedicated circuit. However, within the United States 220v outlets are less common and typically reserved for dryers. If you do have a 220v available at your home or willing to install one, we sell the converter cables from a standard L6 outlet to c13 & c19 inputs to the miners.
SHOULD I HAVE MY MINER PLUGGED INTO A SURGE PROTECTOR?
Yes. We recommend that all units are plugged into a surge protector unit. Typically surge protectors purchased anywhere in the U.S. will ensure the value of any machine or item plugged into them. These will work fine for 110v. If 220v, your breaker typically works fine.
DOES MY MACHINE GET HOT?
Most machines perform millions of mathematically equations per second and rely on different cores to create the solutions. These cores require electric and that electric and use consumption creates heat. It does not mean that a more powerful machine will generate more heat; although that is most times the case. Good ventilation, good A/C, indirect sunlight or no light spaces form the best environments.
CAN I UTILIZE A SECONDARY A/C UNIT IN A PARTICULAR ROOM?
Yes. You most certainly can. We recommend upright A/C units that are either wall mount (Mitsubishi) or on rollers with an adequate vent which vents directly outside. This allows for you to maintain the cooling needed, without having to keep you entire home A/C at a low temperature. These are recommended only where two or more large size or 3 or more smaller size machines are wanted.
